Mokuʻula island, where Kauikeaouli Kamehameha III lived during a portion of his reign, is now Malu ʻUlu o Lelo Park. Footage includes panoramic shots of the area. Next Akoni Akana and visitors from across Hawaiʻi Paeʻāina (Hawaiian islands) and outside of Hawaiʻi walk over to Waiola Cemetery where they offer oli (chant) and Akana tells moʻolelo about the place. Waiola Cemetery is where Keōpūolani and Nāhiʻenaʻena are buried. Next Keeaumoku Kapu and his pa lua (a group of people practicing Hawaiian martial arts) do protocol while Akana explains to the group what they are doing. After the protocol Akana and Kapu exchange oli and kāhea (a response chant).
